Research & Development
At NMNTI, our challenge is to help clients meet future Sampling and Characterization needs in various industries.
Our goal is to identify, develop and commercialize technologies and innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
We achieve this by working closely with our customers to ensure we develop products and services that address their needs and also by collaborating with research institutes and other companies around the world.
Feasibility Studies
NMNTI conducts feasibility studies to allow the implementation of the first phase of a staged development process. Initial investigative work focuses on key operational sampling and characterization features. This quantifies the effort, technical feasibility, and costs required to develop and demonstrate TruPro®.
NMNTI staff investigate several key functional and operational features of any proposed profiling or engineering application. This ensures that a representative sample can be retrieved or that the most suitable practical engineered solution is implemented before fully committing resources to developing a full feasibility study of the proposed sampling approach or engineered project specific solution. The critical functional features to be assessed for initial feasibility are details of the prototype apparatus and rigs with associated material and fabrication costs.
Other technical and significant areas of interest are also investigated once initial tests prove the sampling or engineered process to be feasible.
